Location: Farnborough
Salary: £28,000–£35,000
Working hours: Monday–Friday 9am – 5pm or 8:30am – 4:30pm

Are you an engineering or technical graduate with 1–3 years of commercial experience looking to step into a more focused applications or internal technical support role?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, global engineering business at the heart of its inside sales and technical support team. You’ll bring your technical mind, problem-solving skills and commercial acumen to help deliver tailored solutions for customers with complex and bespoke requirements.
The Role
- Review incoming customer orders and assess technical accuracy and commercial viability
- Support the creation of technical proposals, drawings, and cost calculations
- Upload detailed order information into internal systems and issue confirmations
- Liaise with customers to resolve queries and secure drawing approvals
- Provide documentation to support internal teams (production, testing, compliance)
- Help identify improvements in internal processes and product guides
- Get involved in hands-on product testing where needed
Key requirements
- Engineering or technical degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems etc.)
- 1–3 years' commercial experience in a technical admin, applications, internal sales, or support environment
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Clear and confident communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent Excel and general IT skills
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, keen to learn and progress
