AWS Cloud Network Architect

AWS Cloud Network Architect - 6-Month Contract - Hybrid (London or Norwich)

We're looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Network Architect to work on the design and delivery of secure, scalable cloud networking solutions within a complex enterprise environment. The role is hands-on and will focus on cloud network architecture, acting as a technical authority across AWS-based programmes as part of a wider cloud transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver cloud networking solutions for enterprise customers.
• Act as the Technical Design Authority for network and cloud architecture projects.
• Design and deploy AWS landing zones to support application teams.
• Develop and define cloud solution architectures leveraging AWS services.
• Build and maintain reusable architecture patterns and best practices.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and architectural guidance.
• Deliver architectural training and knowledge sharing to business and technical teams.
• Write and maintain cloud networking content for internal knowledge platforms.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and take ownership of cloud deliveries.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud and open-source technologies.

What You Will Ideally Bring

• Proven experience in cloud network architecture and cloud networking design.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS networking services.
• In-depth knowledge of DNS, Active Directory, Route 53, and enterprise networking.
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking qualification.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to lead architecture decisions and influence stakeholders.
• Understanding of service catalogues, Cloud WAN, AWS Config, and Firewall Manager (desirable).
• On-premises networking experience (desirable).

Contract Details

• Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
• Day Rate: Up to £550 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: London or Norwich - Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
• Start Date: ASAP
