AWS OpenSearch Consultant - Hybrid - IR35

Rate: £400 per day
Working Model: Hybrid - 1 day per week in office

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AWS OpenSearch Consultant to design, build and optimise scalable search and observability solutions within a large enterprise environment.

You will work across AWS OpenSearch, Kafka, Terraform and ELK, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, automation and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable AWS OpenSearch environments.
• Configure indexing, mappings, dashboards and search performance.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop Real Time ingestion pipelines using Kafka, Logstash and Beats.
• Monitor cluster health, capacity and availability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform reliability.
• Implement security, monitoring and operational best practices.
• Support OpenSearch upgrades, deployments and optimisation.
