AWS Tech Lead - 6 months - Windsor- Inside IR35
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of innovative cloud-based solutions. This role is hands-on and suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative, agile environment while offering guidance to junior team members. This position does not include formal line management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in refining and scoping upcoming sprint work.
- Assist solution architects with technical design activities and break down complex technical tasks.
- Take accountability for the timely delivery of assigned tickets, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met.
- Conduct spikes and technical investigations into innovative technologies to assess future project viability.
- Review teammates' work to ensure it meets code quality and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with other teams to manage integrations, maintaining alignment across tasks and APIs.
- Partner with the QA team to investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues.
- Mentor junior team members, offering guidance, technical support, and problem-solving assistance.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Experience building Serverless and Event-Driven architectures on AWS.
- Strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
- Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
- Background working within an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- 5+ Years Leading AWS Projects
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
- Day Rate: £450-475 per day (Inside IR35)
- Location: Windsor
- Start Date: ASAP
