BASE24 Consultant- 12-Month Contract - Hybrid (Swindon/London)
We are looking for senior, experienced BASE24-eps professionals across three roles - Architect, Developer, and Tester - to support a payments system modernisation programme focused on evolving the BASE24 platform and delivering a full migration from BASE24 Classic to BASE24-eps.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end architecture, development, and testing for BASE24-eps systems
- Lead the strategy and execution of the BASE24 Classic to BASE24-eps migration, including coexistence architecture and bridge concepts
- Translate customer requirements into design specifications, unit test plans, and implementation strategies for Test and Production environments
- Design and document transaction flows across ATM, POS, and switching systems
- Customise BASE24-eps components and Scripting based on functional requirements
- Prepare and execute end-to-end ST/SIT, regression, and performance test plans; manage defects and prepare TPORs.
What You Will Ideally Bring
- Strong experience with BASE24-eps architecture, development, and/or configuration and transaction processing flows
- Experience on large-scale payment switch systems (ATM, POS, Switch)
- Deep knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging (VISA/LINK), Journals, TDEs, Tokens, STM/PSTM, and HP NonStop/Tandem architecture
- Proficiency in PATHWAY, TACL, Enscribe, TAL, Cobol, C/C++, Java, and XPNET/NCPCOM
Contract Details
- Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
- Day Rate: Up to £600 per day (Inside IR35)
- Location: - Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) - Swindon/London
