EUC Architect - 12-Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Reading (Hybrid)
We are seeking an EUC Architect to join a leading global retailer on a 12-month office-based contract in Reading. You will deliver end-to-end End User Computing architecture for a large, distributed estate across stores, offices, and distribution centres, leading transition, transformation, and modernisation, including cloud-based endpoint management and secure, scalable EUC platforms. You will work closely with CIOs and senior IT leadership to shape EUC strategy and lead innovation through automation and analytics-driven improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own end-to-end EUC architecture across Windows, macOS, mobile, and EPOS
- Lead EUC transition and transformation initiatives aligned to business and IT strategy
- Design and implement modern device management with Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot
- Drive endpoint security, compliance, and patch management standards across the estate
- Oversee application packaging, deployment, and life cycle management
- Establish governance, standards, and best practice for EUC service delivery
- Lead innovation through automation, digital experience monitoring, and analytics
- Support audit readiness, risk mitigation, and regulatory and security compliance
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Strong EUC architecture expertise across Windows, macOS, and mobile device management
- Hands-on Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot experience
- Deep understanding of endpoint security, compliance, patching, and vulnerability management
- Application packaging, deployment, and life cycle management
- Retail technology experience such as EPOS and store devices
- Digital experience tools (Nexthink, SysTrack) and automation, including PowerShell
- Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 desirable
- Zero Trust, Azure AD, Conditional Access, and MFA desirable
- ServiceNow and ITIL; ISO 27001 and GDPR familiarity desirable
