F5 Architect | 12 Month Contract
This is a high impact project focused on designing, implementing and documenting a global F5 solution across 50+ sites within a complex enterprise environment.
The role would suit someone who is comfortable operating across both architecture and hands-on delivery, with strong experience designing scalable, resilient F5 environments across enterprise infrastructure.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading the design and rollout of a global F5 platform across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, resilience and performance across the wider infrastructure estate.
You’ll work closely with engineering, infrastructure and security teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions within a highly regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities
• Design and deliver enterprise F5 architectures across global environments
• Lead implementation and rollout activity across 50+ sites
• Produce HLD and LLD documentation
• Standardise F5 configurations and deployment approaches
• Support infrastructure transformation and migration activities
• Work closely with engineering and security teams across delivery phases
• Present architectural changes and technical solutions to stakeholders
• Ensure resilience, scalability and high availability across the platform
What They Are Looking For
• Strong experience with F5 BIG-IP technologies
• Expertise across LTM, GTM, ASM/APM
• Experience delivering large scale, multi-site enterprise deployments
• Strong understanding of load balancing and application delivery architectures
• Hands on experience with iRules and traffic management
• Background within enterprise or financial services environments preferred
• Comfortable operating across both architecture and implementation
