FrontEnd Web Developers - 6 months - Coventry (HYBRID) £425/day - Inside IR35

We're recruiting for a Front End Web Developer to develop and maintain responsive, accessible, secure, and high-performing digital applications and websites using modern Front End technologies and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for a leading UK utilities organisation. You'll work closely with designers, architects, product owners, and delivery teams to deliver scalable digital solutions with excellent user experience - building modular, reusable Front End components using React and maintaining WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility compliance throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop modular, reusable Front End components using React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), SASS/LESS, and Node.js
  • Work with AEM components, Client Libraries (Clientlibs), HTL/Sightly templates, and authoring dialogs
  • Ensure solutions are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and optimised for performance
  • Implement and maintain web accessibility standards, ensuring WCAG 2.0 AA compliance
  • Apply secure coding practices and support compliance with OWASP security standards
  • Manage source code and version control using Git
  • Participate in Agile delivery activities including planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Contribute to technical standards, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Will Ideally Bring

  • 10+ years' experience in UI/Front End development
  • Strong experience with React and modern Front End development frameworks
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, JavaScript (ES6), and Node.js
  • Experience developing solutions within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including component development, HTL/Sightly, Clientlibs, and dialog configuration
  • Understanding of Front End build tools and source control practices (Git)
  • Strong knowledge of web accessibility, responsive design, and performance optimisation
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure development practices
  • Experience in Utilities, Water, Energy, Manufacturing, or Infrastructure sectors (desirable)

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Rate: £425 day - Inside IR35
  • Location: Coventry- 3 days per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
