Group Technology Risk Lead

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Technology Risk Lead to take ownership of technology risk management across a large, global enterprise operating in complex and asset-intensive environments.

This is a senior, influential role within Group Information Security, where you’ll shape enterprise-wide technology risk strategy, define governance frameworks and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across IT, OT and digital platforms.

You’ll play a key role in strengthening organisational resilience, embedding risk-aware decision-making and helping the business safely adopt new technologies at scale.

What you’ll be doing

  • Define and lead a group-wide Technology Risk Management Framework
  • Own technology risk governance, policies and security control frameworks
  • Lead enterprise risk assessments, threat modelling and scenario planning
  • Maintain and govern technology risk registers with executive-level reporting
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity and regulatory requirements across multiple regions
  • Support audits, regulatory reviews and remediation programmes
  • Provide clear risk posture reporting and assurance to senior leadership
  • Partner with IT, OT, legal, compliance and operational teams globally
  • Lead enterprise-wide security awareness initiatives
  • Support incident response and crisis management from a risk perspective
  • Track emerging threats, regulatory changes and industry trends

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in Technology Risk or Cybersecurity leadership
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 31000, NIST RMF, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls
  • Experience working with OT / industrial environments
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a global organisation
  • Relevant degree in Information Security, Risk, Computer Science or similar
  • Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISM or CISSP (or equivalent)

Salary

Up to £120,000 basic salary per annum + Bonus & Shares
