HPC Technical Lead - 6 months - Hybrid (Stevenage) - Inside IR35

Hamilton Barnes are seeking an experienced HPC Technical Lead to join our clients team on an initial 6-month contract.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with only 2x per week on site in Stevenage. You will be working alongside one of the UK's leading life science organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage technical operations of HPC systems.
• Handle hardware, software, security, and support.
• Plan, configure, and maintain HPC components.
• Develop and manage containerized apps with Docker.
• Maintain images, versions, security, and performance in Docker.
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Build and maintain Linux systems with focus on performance and security.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Strong expertise in HPC platforms with hands-on experience managing hardware, software, and security.
• Skilled in Docker containerization, including building, maintaining images, and ensuring scalability.
• Proficient in Linux infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experienced in Azure cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and management.
• Additional skills: Domino, Azure DevOps, Python, GitHub, Databricks, Agile Scrum

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
• Day Rate: Up to £575 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Hybrid 2x a week in Stevenage
• Start Date: ASAP
