About the role
We're hiring an IAM Engineer to join a Group IT Security function and act as a technical SME for Identity Governance and Identity & Access Management across a complex enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design, build and optimise IAM capabilities that protect critical systems, support compliance and improve user experience across the organisation.
You'll work closely with security, IT and application teams while gaining exposure to modern identity technologies and enterprise-scale platforms.
What you'll be doing
- Implement and optimise Identity Governance solutions within an enterprise IAM platform
- Design and integrate SSO, MFA and identity lifecycle management solutions
- Build and enhance Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities
- Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) and Just-Enough-Access (JEA) access models
- Perform technical IAM assessments and remediate security gaps
- Develop scripted solutions to automate identity processes
- Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and optimise platform performance
- Support audits and implement remediation actions
- Maintain IAM documentation, standards and configurations
- Collaborate with security, IT and application teams globally
What we're looking for
- 5+ years' hands-on experience in IAM / IGA engineering
- Strong experience with platforms such as Saviynt, SailPoint or Okta
- Experience with PAM tools (e.g. CyberArk)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID
- Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
- Experience with APIs, SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect
- Understanding of IAM best practices, regulatory requirements and security frameworks
- Exposure to OT / ICS identity use cases is highly desirable

Salary
- £50,000 - £70,000 basic salary per annum + bonus
