Role Overview

A 6-month hybrid contract role based in Coventry (3 days on-site) paying £400 per day, for an experienced Identity Resource to support the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of IAM and PAM services across a large enterprise. The position spans privileged account governance, identity life cycle management, authentication technologies, and identity threat protection, with a strong focus on Zero Trust and least-privilege security objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support BeyondTrust PAM solutions including Password Safe, Privileged Remote Access (PRA), and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), managing the full privileged account life cycle.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory identity management, implementing Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Just-In-Time (JIT) access controls across the enterprise.
• Identify, onboard, and govern service accounts, supporting credential vaulting, secrets management, and privileged access governance initiatives.
• Configure and support identity federation technologies including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SSO solutions, implementing RBAC and least-privilege access models.
• Contribute to IGA processes including access reviews and entitlement management, supporting identity threat detection, incident response, and automation through IAM and PAM integrations.

• BeyondTrust PAM expertise - Hands-on experience with BeyondTrust solutions including Password Safe, PRA, and EPM, with proven ability to manage privileged account life cycle and governance processes.
• Microsoft identity stack - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory administration, including PIM, JIT access controls, and hybrid identity architectures.
• Authentication & federation technologies - Experience configuring SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SSO solutions, with a solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and Zero Trust security concepts.
• Secrets management & credential governance - Experience with secrets management, credential vaulting, and service account governance, ideally with exposure to platforms such as Azure Key Vault, CyberArk Conjur, or HashiCorp Vault.
• PowerShell & IAM automation - Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting for IAM/PAM administration and integration, with relevant certifications such as SC-300, AZ-500, CISSP, or BeyondTrust certification being a strong advantage.
