Information Modeller - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Hybrid in Warwick
Role Overview
Looking for an experienced Information Modeller to design and develop enterprise information models across a large-scale programme. The role spans static data models, process flows, integration interfaces, and solution architecture, working closely with subject matter experts to validate and agree models. The position also carries governance, metadata management, and data quality responsibilities within a complex, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop information model diagrams using UML class notation, BPMN, ArchiMate, and UML interaction notation, created within Sparx Enterprise Architect.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate, refine, and agree models, contributing to solution architecture across business, infrastructure, and functional areas.
- Implement governance frameworks and support data compliance activities, including policies, standards, and guidelines aligned to data legislation.
- Manage knowledge assets and metadata life cycle - covering identification, classification, storage, and maintenance - to enable effective information discovery.
- Develop physical database schemas from information models and create interaction diagrams and message payloads for API integration (HTTP GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE).

- Information modelling expertise - Strong proficiency in UML, BPMN, and ArchiMate notations, with hands-on experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect to produce enterprise-grade models.
- Data governance & compliance - Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data legislation compliance within complex enterprise environments.
- Database & schema design - Proven ability to develop physical relational database schemas from information models, including constraints and historical data structures.
