C# Developer - Hybrid in Kingston upon Thames - Inside IR35 - 12 months

We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared C# Developer to join a leading international organisation on a long-term programme of work. This role, based in Kingston upon Thames, offers an opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of high-performance enterprise applications.

As part of a collaborative Agile engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering robust, scalable, and secure software solutions throughout the full software development life cycle - from requirements analysis and design through to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You'll be expected to bring deep technical expertise in C#, .NET, and modern development practices, along with strong communication skills and a structured, delivery-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET 6/7, and ASP.NET Core.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle, including planning, design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement and manage work items, sprints, and issue tracking using Jira.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems and databases.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to established coding standards and design principles (SOLID, OOP).

What You Will Ideally Bring:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development using C# and .NET (Core or Framework).
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, and project management.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.
  • Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and web services.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities within cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Exposure to JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) is beneficial.
  • SC Cleared

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
  • Day Rate: Up to £500 per day (Inside IR35)
  • Location: Hybrid - Kingston upon Thames
