This is a hands-on Linux + security role — not compliance — focused on protecting and improving infrastructure.
What you’ll do
- Secure and improve Linux infrastructure
- Deploy IDS/IPS tools (Suricata, Zeek, Snort)
- Configure firewalls, VPNs & network controls
- Build logging & monitoring pipelines
- Vulnerability scanning & patching
- Analyse logs and network traffic
- Automate security tasks (Bash / Python)
