The Role

We are seeking an experienced M365 Engineer (Viva Communications & Communities) to support the design, configuration, deployment, and optimization of Microsoft Viva solutions. This role is instrumental in shaping modern employee experience platforms, with a particular focus on Viva Engage, Viva Amplify, and Viva Connections.

You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver engaging communication and collaboration experiences across distributed and hybrid workforces while ensuring compliance with enterprise governance and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure the Microsoft 365 platform to enable successful deployment of Viva Communications and Communities products across the organization.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and Microsoft 365 configurations.
• Develop, present, and execute technical implementation plans through appropriate governance forums.
• Ensure compliance with governance policies and enterprise security controls.
• Monitor platform performance, user adoption, usage trends, and feedback, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Keep solutions aligned with the Microsoft product roadmap and implement new capabilities where appropriate.
• Log, manage, and drive resolution of Microsoft support tickets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve employee engagement, communications, and knowledge-sharing experiences.

Essential Skills & ExperienceMicrosoft Viva Connections

• Dashboard development using pre-built workloads and Adaptive Cards.
• Configuration of static and dynamic content using JSON and Microsoft Graph API.
• Strong understanding of Viva Connections Feed and SharePoint News integration.
• Configuration and management of Resources.

Microsoft Viva Engage

• Configuration, administration, and adoption support.

Microsoft Viva Amplify

• Deployment, configuration, and management of organizational communications campaigns.

SharePoint Online

• Configuration of SharePoint Home Sites.
• Global Navigation setup and administration.
• Deep understanding of SharePoint News capabilities.

Microsoft Teams

• Application deployment and configuration.

Additional Requirements

• Role-based personalization using Microsoft Entra ID attributes.
• Change management and user training experience.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 rollouts across complex organizations.
