Network Engineer (Banking)
Network Engineer (Banking)
We’re currently working with a growing specialist bank in London that’s investing heavily in its technology and infrastructure teams as part of its continued expansion. They operate in a niche area of the market, supporting UK businesses with tailored financial solutions, and are building out a modern, resilient IT environment to support that growth.
This role sits within a small, hands-on network team where you’ll get exposure across the full network stack. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and ownership, covering everything from design and implementation through to support and optimisation across firewalls, routing & switching, voice, and load balancing.
Join a business where you’ll have real ownership and visibility, rather than being a small cog in a large machine. You’ll be working across a broad and modern tech stack, with the chance to influence design decisions, get involved in projects, and help shape the future of the network environment.

- Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and security issues across the network estate

Key Skills & Experience
- Strong background in Cisco enterprise networking (routing, switching, and security)

- Good understanding of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Exposure to cloud or hybrid environments and network monitoring tools
- Proactive mindset with an interest in automation and continuous improvement
