Are you a Network Engineer in Scotland, looking for something new?

This is a Network Operations focused position working for a leading Telecommunications organisation where you will configuring, troubleshooting and supporting Cisco network & security devices from home with occasional travel into the office for hands on work with Cisco, Juniper & Meraki hardware.

Details

• Location: Perth, Scotland (Hybrid – 1/2x a week on-site for hands on configuration work with hardware)
• Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum base salary
• Annual bonus scheme
• On-call allowance

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitoring networks including L2 switching, L3 routing, SD-WAN, wireless networks & firewalls.
• Troubleshooting and configurations of Cisco LAN and WAN.
• Playing a part in the on-call rota, 1 in 7 weeks.

Must Have Experience

• Experience troubleshooting and configuring Cisco network devices and hardware
• Strong IP networking experience, particularly BGP & OSPF.

Nice to Have Experience

• Network operations experience with Juniper core networks.
• Experience in troubleshooting and supporting Meraki wireless access points.
• Firewall support experience such as Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX and Checkpoint.
• Experience in troubleshooting Silver Peak SD-WAN.
