Network Security Engineer - (Checkpoint & Proxy) 6 months - On Site in West London

Hamilton Barnes is seeking Checkpoint and Proxy professional to join our client's team on an initial 6-month contract, working with one of the UK's leading organisations in the technology and Networking space.

The role is on site based 5 days a week in West London, offering the opportunity to work on a high-impact programme within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Checkpoint Maestro Firewall environments.
• Implement and support Forcepoint web Proxy solutions for enterprise traffic inspection.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Work closely with infrastructure and network teams to ensure secure architecture designs.
• Manage security policies, NAT, and VPN configurations across Firewall appliances.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Proven expertise in Checkpoint Maestro setup and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Forcepoint Web Proxy (cloud or on-prem).
• Strong background in Firewall rule management and policy optimisation.
• Knowledge of network security protocols, threat management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and incident response workflows.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
• Day Rate: Up to £400 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: On site in West London
• Start Date: ASAP
