Network Specialist

You've built solid experience in network support — you know the kit, you troubleshoot fast, and you're ready for more. This is the role that bridges that gap.

A growing public-sector technology business is looking for a Network Specialist to step into project implementation and genuinely drive delivery. They've won a strong pipeline of large-scale contracts and have no plans to slow down. You'll move from reactive support into proactive project work — designing and delivering solutions that make a tangible difference to public services and the people who rely on them.

• Juniper MX & ACX

• Cisco Wireless & LAN

• Aruba Wireless & LAN

• Fortinet SD-WAN

• ClearPass / ISE (beneficial)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Solid network support background — comfortable with multi-vendor environments

• Exposure to Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, or Fortinet technology (ideally more than one)

• Ready to transition: you want to own implementation, not just maintain

• A delivery mindset — you see a project through from start to finish

• ClearPass or ISE experience is a bonus, not a barrier

THE PACKAGE

• £40,000 – £50,000 base salary

• Discretionary bonus ~£2,000 per annum

• On-call: 1 week in 11

• Hybrid: 3 days office (Salford or Lancaster) / 2 days from home
