The role sits across network design and delivery, giving you the opportunity to work on projects while also supporting and developing more junior engineers. It’s ideal for someone who still enjoys being hands-on but wants to guide others and shape technical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver network design and implementation projects across enterprise environments.

• Act as a technical mentor to junior and mid-level engineers.

• Support and guide the team on best practices and troubleshooting approaches.

• Work across multi-vendor environments with a strong focus on Juniper technologies.

• Contribute to the growth of the organisation’s HPE Aruba capability.

• Collaborate with internal teams and customers on solution delivery.

• Support technical decision-making and architecture discussions.

• Assist with documentation including HLDs and LLDs.

Technical Environment:

• ~80% Juniper

• ~10% Cisco

• ~10% HPE Aruba (growing focus)

• Exposure to Extreme Networks (nice to have)

Skills / Must Have:

• Strong experience in network engineering and delivery.

• Expertise in at least one of the following at professional level:

– Juniper (JNCIP level preferred)

– Cisco (CCNP level)

– HPE Aruba (ACMP level)

• Experience with network design and implementation.

• Ability to mentor and support other engineers.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Comfortable working in a multi-vendor environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Extreme Networks.

• Previous experience in a team lead or mentoring capacity.

• Interest in developing deeper expertise in HPE Aruba technologies.

Location & Working Pattern:

• Cirencester-based role

• 3 days per week onsite

• £65,000 basic salary
