PSA (Protection, SCADA, Automation) Engineer - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Fully Remote

We are seeking an experienced PSA Engineer to join a high-performance engineering team. You'll be supporting and maintaining ADMS software, which helps electric utility companies manage power grids - especially during outages, storms, or everyday operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Installing and supporting ADMS products (like PowerOn Fusion and PowerOn Advantage).

• Helping customers fix problems in areas like:

  - Power grid applications (DMS, OMS, Storm tools, etc.)
  - SCADA systems (used to control the grid)
  - Interfaces and dashboards.
• Working with both electric transmission and distribution systems.
• Fixing issues with systems running on Linux, Windows, and databases like Oracle and Cassandra.
• Troubleshooting network-related problems (IP, DNS, routing, etc.).
• Following industry standards (like NERC CIP) to keep systems secure.

Key Skills You'll Need:

• Experience using or supporting power grid software.
• Basic knowledge of electrical grids (how power gets from plants to homes).
• Comfortable using tools like Linux, Oracle, SQL, and Windows.
• Strong communication skills - you'll speak with customers regularly.
• Good problem-solving - tracking down software, network, or grid issues.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Daily Rate: Up to £525 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Fully Remote
