We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our client on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling the delivery of network automation across the business. The client has recently defined a robust automation framework and implemented a modern technology stack including Kubernetes, a Message Broker, CI/CD pipelines, NoSQL databases, and log management/analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enable and support the delivery of network automation solutions to the business.
• Administer and maintain the Kubernetes platform.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools using Python.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate within an Agile/SCRUM team to deliver platform enhancements.
• Implement and maintain solutions that adhere to robust security principles.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Proven experience in Kubernetes and can act an SME to other members of the team.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Knowledge of security best practices and implementation in platform environments.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, message brokers, and log management/analytics tools.
• Exposure to network automation frameworks.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
• Day Rate: Up to £475 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Newbury or Remote
• Start Date: ASAP
