Hamilton Barnes are seeking an experienced Python Technical Architect to join our clients team on an initial 6-month contract.

The ideal candidate will bring deep Python expertise, technical leadership experience, and a strong architectural mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design secure, scalable, and high-performance Back End systems using Python.
• Define and promote coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and provide mentorship to engineers.

What You Will Ideally Bring

• 10+ years in software development, including 6+ years with Python
• Expert in Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Strong knowledge of microservices and RESTful APIs
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other relational/NoSQL databases
• Proficient with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
• Day Rate: Up to £575 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Hybrid 3x a week in Bradford
• Start Date: ASAP
