SAP QM Functional Expert - 6-Month Contract - Hybrid (London)

We're seeking a senior SAP QM Functional Expert to lead the design and integration of Quality Management solutions within an S/4HANA environment. The role will focus on compliant, end-to-end quality processes and integration with laboratory systems in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Quality Management solution design and configuration.
• Configure inspection lots, inspection plans, sample management, and Certificate of Analysis processes.
• Support QM integration with MM, PP-PI, and EWM modules.
• Drive integration between SAP QM and Laboratory Execution Systems (eg, LIMS) using CPI, PI/PO, APIs, and IDocs.
• Develop functional specifications, blueprint documentation, and training materials.
• Support Fiori-based QM applications and UX optimisation.
• Design and monitor inbound and outbound interface error handling and reprocessing mechanisms.
• Support system validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ documentation and test execution.
• Engage stakeholders across Quality, Manufacturing, and IT to ensure compliant global rollouts.

What You Will Ideally Bring

• 15+ years of SAP QM implementation experience, ideally in life sciences or regulated industries.
• Strong hands-on configuration expertise in SAP QM including batch management and inspection processing.
• Deep understanding of LES/LIMS integrations and Middleware technologies (CPI, PI/PO).
• Experience working within S/4HANA environments and Fiori applications.
• Strong knowledge of validation processes and audit readiness requirements.
• Proven ability to lead workshops and drive functional governance.
• Experience supporting global template rollouts and multi-site deployments.

Contract Details

Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
Day Rate: Up to £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London - Hybrid (2 days onsite travel per week)
