A leading global transformation consultancy is seeking an experienced Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) Analyst for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. The role falls inside IR35 and requires either active SC clearance or eligibility to obtain it. Based in Warwick, this position follows a hybrid working model, with 3 days per week on-site.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the stability and readiness of SCADA systems as part of a major digital transformation programme within a secure and agile environment.

Key Requirements:

• Conduct Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT): Validate SCADA system performance, stability, reliability, and readiness for production, including backup, failover, and disaster recovery testing.
• Work closely with ART teams, Product Owners, and SMEs to ensure test requirements are well-defined in user stories and test cases.
• Prepare, execute, and track test activities in tools like JIRA/XRAY, ensuring alignment with the defined Test Strategy and Test Plans.
• Identify, track, and help resolve risks and issues related to SCADA system testing.
• Document test results, report defects, and assist in root cause analysis and resolution planning.

What you will Ideally Bring:

• Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, operations, and communication protocols (eg, IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus).
• Hands-on experience with OAT practices in a power utility SCADA environment.
• Ability to analyze complex system behaviors and validate resilience and operational functionality.
• Experience working in Agile teams, including Scrum processes and sprint planning.
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA, XRAY, or HP-ALM for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months
• Location: 3x a week in Warwick
• Daily Rate: Up to £425 Per Day (Inside IR35)
