Job Title: Senior Network Engineer – (OUTSIDE IR35)

About the Role:

A leading global financial organisation is undertaking a major hardware modernisation and is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to play a key role in this transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead critical projects from day one, with exposure to advanced networking technologies and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the F5 load balancer project from day one, focusing on design and implementation without operational duties.
• Head DNS and load balancing initiatives across the organisation.
• Collaborate with platform and cloud teams post-project to work on end-to-end networking, automation, and low-latency solutions.
• Take ownership of network design, implementation, and optimisation across data centre and cloud environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong Routing & Switching expertise in data centre networking , including BGP .
• Proven experience with load balancers , ideally F5 , or other enterprise-grade load balancers.
• Solid understanding of DNS .
• Experience leading projects independently, particularly in load balancing or DNS.
