Senior Network Engineer (United Kingdom)

A growing ISP is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to take over from a long-standing team member who has been with the company for 9 years. This role offers a mix of internal support and customer-facing network delivery and is ideal for someone with a strong networking background looking to step into a technical leadership position.

Role Overview:

Internal support desk – escalation support

Mentor and support the Senior Network Support Engineer

Network architecture & delivery

50/50 core networking focus, 80/20 customer-facing

Interest in cybersecurity is a bonus – helping develop new service offerings

Some exposure to AWS/Azure cloud and infrastructure (HP Servers, VMware, Wintel)

Tech Stack:

Juniper core – L2/L3 VPNs

Fortinet Firewalls (advantageous)

MikroTik, FireBrick

Will consider a Cisco ASR Network Engineer

Ideal Candidate:

ISP experience preferred

JNCIP-level knowledge (certification a bonus but not essential)

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Flexible Remote Working
