Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Salary: Up to £65,000

We’re working with a leading quantitative research and technology firm, known for building advanced, data-driven systems in a highly engineering-led environment. This is a great opportunity to work alongside strong technical teams, supporting critical infrastructure at scale.

This role sits between a traditional NOC and full engineering — offering real ownership of incidents, changes, and network operations within a complex data centre environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Monitoring and supporting a production data centre network
• Troubleshooting L2/L3 issues and managing incidents end-to-end
• Implementing network changes (DNS, DHCP, firewall rules)
• Working with Palo Alto / Fortigate firewalls
• Supporting DNS & IPAM (Infoblox)
• Operating within a VXLAN EVPN environment

What they’re looking for

• Strong routing & switching fundamentals (CCNP level)
• Experience in a NOC / network operations environment
• Hands-on troubleshooting in data centre networks
• Exposure to VXLAN EVPN
• Experience with firewalls and DNS/IPAM
• Ability to work independently and take ownership

Nice to have

• CCNP certification
• Network automation (Python, Ansible, PowerShell)
• Understanding of high-availability network design
