ServiceNow Senior Developer - Hybrid - Inside IR35

Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Senior Developer to join a large-scale financial services programme. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions while ensuring adherence to platform best practices, governance, security, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow platform solutions and customisations.
  • Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
  • Build and support workflows, Flow Designer solutions, Service Catalog items, and integrations.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for incidents, defects, and enhancement requests.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Scripting, integrations, access controls, and data integrity.
  • Support platform upgrades, patches, and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support audit and compliance activities.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years' experience as a ServiceNow Developer within enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, BCM, S2P, IRM, and TRPM modules.
  • Solid understanding of CMDB, CSDM, CI relationships, and data quality controls.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Workflows, Service Catalog, and platform integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and data imports.
  • Experience troubleshooting performance issues, ACLs, and customisations.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and ITSM best practices.

Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ITIL Foundation
