We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect (Java) to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role will play a key part in shaping technical solutions, ensuring that designs are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, architects, and development teams, ensuring smooth delivery across the entire project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design and development teams throughout the full project life cycle, including requirements gathering, proofs of concept, testing, and implementation.
• Produce detailed design documents in collaboration with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and Infrastructure Designers.
• Provide technical leadership in software design and architecture decisions.
• Work closely with Business Stakeholders to ensure requirements (definitions, user stories) are complete, accurate, and development-ready.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in Java application development (web and Middleware).
• Strong hands-on experience with: Java 11+, Spring 5+, Spring Boot, MVC, Integration, Spring Security (OAuth2), Azure Cloud
• In-depth knowledge of SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Ability to quickly adopt and learn emerging technologies relevant to projects.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
• Day Rate: Up to £500 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Hybrid (Bournemouth)
• Start Date: ASAP
