VOIP Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for Hosted VoIP, SIP Trunks, PSTN, ISDN and Broadband services.
• Respond to customer queries via phone and email within agreed SLA timescales.
• Diagnose and resolve faults effectively with a focus on first-time resolution.
• Support customers and resellers across a hosted voice and connectivity portfolio.
• Configure hosted phone systems, routers, and hosted tenants.
• Raise faults with external suppliers and manage through to resolution.
• Order and provision hardware where required.
• Arrange engineer visits to customer sites where necessary.
• Keep customers informed of planned network maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Support internal teams when required.
• Onboard new partners onto hosted voice services.
Skills / Must Have:
• Interest or experience in Hosted Telephony and VoIP.
• Experience with Broadband and Router configuration.
• Awareness of SIP, VoIP, or hosted voice platforms (Gamma experience is a plus).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach.
• Comfortable working within a shift-based support environment.
• A positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn.

Salary:
Up to £26,000 per annum depending on experience.
Location:
Huddersfield
Office-based, 5 days per week.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday (rota-based)
• 08:00–16:00
• 09:00–17:00
• 10:00–18:00
