Workday Data Migration Consultant- 12 months | Reading/Dublin, UK (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)
We are seeking an experienced Workday Data Migration Consultant to support an urgent, time-sensitive migration of employee and payroll data from Workday to a new payroll platform for a leading international retail group. You will combine strong Workday functional knowledge with hands-on data migration, validation and transformation to deliver a seamless transition with minimal business disruption. The contract is 12 months, hybrid in Reading or Dublin, with 3 days per week on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support end-to-end data migration from Workday to a new payroll platform
- Extract, transform, cleanse, validate and reconcile data across the migration life cycle
- Produce data mapping documents and migration strategies
- Resolve data quality issues and migration risks
- Run migration testing, validation and post-migration support
- Work with business, payroll and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security and privacy requirements
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- 8+ years' experience in Workday data migration, with Workday integration exposure
- Strong Workday HCM and related business process knowledge
- Data migration projects involving HR and payroll systems
- Data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and reconciliation
- Workday reporting, EIBs, integrations or data conversion tools
- Knowledge of payroll processes and payroll, employee and workforce data structures
- Experience migrating from Workday to payroll platforms or other HCM solutions
- Workday certification (desirable)
Contract Details:
- Duration: 12 months
- Rate: £495 per day - Inside IR35
- Location: Reading/Dublin (Hybrid)
