We are supporting a highly successful Workplace Technology Solutions Provider in their search for an experienced BDR to join their expanding sales function. This home-based role offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in Scotland, working closely with a team of Business Development Managers to generate high-quality, fully qualified appointments.

The Role

As the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Making proactive outbound calls to targeted organisations across Scotland.
  • Securing qualified appointments that meet the company’s Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Working closely with several Business Development Managers to support pipeline growth and commercial success.
  • Using a consultative approach when speaking with prospects, understanding their environment, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Managing your own activity levels while maintaining a strong focus on call quality and conversion.
  • Building rapport and nurturing early-stage relationships that lead to meaningful sales opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about high-quality engagement, and who understands the importance of setting strong, profitable appointments that convert into successful deals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a BDR within the workplace technology, IT, or related solutions sector.
  • Be confident making outbound calls and comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers.
  • Have excellent questioning, listening, and qualification skills.
  • Be highly consultative in approach, focused on understanding fit, value, and opportunity.
  • Thrive in a results-driven role and take pride in generating quality appointments that convert.
  • Be self-motivated, disciplined, and effective in a home-working environment.
  • Be ambitious; whether that’s developing into a long-term, high-performing BDR career, or progressing into a future field-based BDM position.

Rewards & Benefits

  • Circa £30,000 basic salary
  • Lucrative commission scheme based on the profitability of deals created from your appointments – Earnings should exceed £35K and are uncapped
