Senior PHP / Full Stack Developer

£42,000 – £48,000 | Permanent | Office-based | East Kilbride

We're hiring an experienced PHP / Full Stack Developer to join a well-established IT reseller based in East Kilbride. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role — not a contract and not remote.

You'll take ownership of the company's websites and web platforms, working across the full lifecycle: build, maintain, improve, and support business-critical systems used every day.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining PHP-based websites and platforms
• Building and integrating RESTful APIs
• Improving performance, reliability, and security
• Supporting and evolving internal systems, including ERP
• Working closely with the business in a small, collaborative team
  

What we're looking for

• Strong commercial experience with PHP and MySQL
• Solid OOP fundamentals
• Experience with HTML, CSS / SCSS, and JavaScript
• API integration experience (JSON / XML, REST)
• Comfortable owning systems end-to-end and working independently
  

Nice to have

• Laravel or other PHP frameworks
• Vue.js or similar JS frameworks
• Git, npm / webpack
  

The essentials

• Permanent, full-time position
• Office-based in East Kilbride (Mon–Fri, 9:00–5:30)
• Salary £42k–£48k, depending on experience (flexible for the right person)
