Job summary

A Secondment opportunity for a full time Administration Co-Ordinator for the Andover & Winchester Public Health Nursing 5-19 Team, within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, The Team are split across two sites and this role is based at Southern House (Otterbourne) with a requirement to occasionally visit the sister site at Beechurst ( Andover) As the Admin Co-ordinator you will assist the Public Health Nursing 5-19 team in the development and maintenance of a quality administrative service across a defined area. You will be required to provide high level support to the Admin Lead, Admin Manager and Clinical Team Leads in all aspects of activity relating to the Business Unit function. You will join us at an exciting time, the start of the new academic year and commencement of 2026 NCMP& Vision programme, along with the transition of processes from Public Health Nursing 5-19 service to the dedicated Single point of Access..

Main duties of the job

You will also be required to use initiative, working autonomously in referring issues to other relevant parties as appropriate, ensuring confidentiality and security of information is always maintained, whilst providing good customer service experience for all staff and patients/customers. The role includes answering phones, entering information on patient record systems, inputting of data for the National Child Measurement Programme, Vision, managing emails, E-Rostering for the team, ordering of stationery and equipment and minute taking at team meetings along with other general administrative tasks. Applicants must have excellent IT skills, an NVQ in Administration and be prepared to provide cross-cover support to other teams and sites across the Area as required.

You will need access to a car, a full driving licence and insurance for business use.

Essential
