You will work closely with clinicians, managers and other stakeholders to analyse, interpret and present data from a range of sources. Main duties of the job
- Work closely with designated service managers to provide analytical support to specific projects and trust-wide reporting to meet the operational and strategic needs of the service.
- Lead on the implementation of data flows for new reporting requirements, liaising closely with data preparation colleagues in the digital division.
- Assist with completion of trust wide Freedom of Information requests, liaising with relevant service leads and providing information within specified timescales.
- Support trust wide national and local contract reporting and queries, providing information within specified timescales.
- Identify and develop processes to analyse sources of data that can help us understand our population, including potential health inequalities, to inform the future provision of services.
- Utilise advanced statistical techniques to ensure reporting is accurate and conclusions are appropriate for sample size and variation.
- To minimise manual processes, working with relevant colleagues to provide automated solutions to information challenges.
- To provide support to staff across the Trust in the use of information to support operational management and transformation of services.
- Follow and contribute to practices and procedures describing the production of regular analyses and reports.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in a health information or mathematical/statistical subject
- Or relevant experience of information handling / analysis in a work environment.
- PRINCE2 or equivalent experience of managing projects.
- Full UK driving licence (own car)
Experience
- Ability to work flexibly, responding to a high level of change and to identify, develop and improve processes.
- Are numerate, computer literate and data literate
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and modelling (NHS Making Data Count Programme).
- Experience of Business Intelligence tools (Tableau/Power BI/Thoughtspot) that captures, creates, populates and manipulates data structures, and where appropriate unstructured data
- An understanding of the implementation of Artificial Intelligence technologies in the context of delivery of data and analytics
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- Understanding of Population Health analytics at a local and national level.
