Rust Engineer

We are seeking a Rust Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and scaling innovative blockchain solutions. This is a greenfield project where you’ll collaborate with a lean, agile team to build high-performance systems from the ground up. Your work will directly impact the future of our ventures, blending cutting-edge technology with real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable blockchain protocols and backend services.
• Propose architectural decisions, participate in design reviews, and implement solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to optimize performance and reliability.
• Document code and functionalities to ensure clarity and maintainability.
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching and integrating new technologies into our stack.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience , with a strong preference for Rust (or Go/Java/Erlang).
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic primitives (e.g., digital signatures, key exchange, encryption).
• Basic knowledge of distributed systems and consensus algorithms (e.g., Raft, PBFT).
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
• A collaborative spirit—open to feedback, eager to learn, and humble in embracing better ideas.
