IT Reporting and Data Specialist

We are looking for a junior Reporting & Data Specialist to support our business with accurate, insightful, and timely reporting. This role will be working alongside our experienced Lead Data and Business Analyst and is ideal for someone early in their data career, who is keen to develop their analytical skills while working closely with operational and business teams.

This role will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Analysing and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Designing and producing regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain data consistency and reporting standards
  • Supporting operational teams with data requests, analysis, and performance reporting
  • Contributing to the ongoing improvement of reporting processes and data quality
  • Continuously developing knowledge of data tools, systems, and best practices

What you need to be successful:

  • Experience using data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Excel, and Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to present complex data clearly and concisely
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work

What else would be helpful:

  • Familiarity with D365 Finance & Operations, Sales, and Field Service.
  • Experience with Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Understanding of data warehousing or business intelligence concepts
