Event Coordinator - Global Tech Brand
Handle Recruitment is seeking an experienced events specialist to step into a fast-moving contract position with a global and prestigious tech brand!
*This is a contract to begin ASAP until end of September initially. Hybrid working in Central London and international travel across Europe, day rate equivalent to £55k-£50k annual salary.*
This role offers the chance to be at the heart of delivering engaging developer experiences across Europe, supporting innovative events. You'll be organising a diverse programme of workshops, presentations, and community gatherings, ensuring every detail runs smoothly from planning through to post-event follow-up.
In this role you will:
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of multiple events across European cities, managing logistics, approvals, and vendor arrangements
- Supporting content logistics, including materials, rehearsals, and attendee registration, ensuring everything is prepared ahead of each event
- Coordinating event promotion and internal assets, liaising with marketing teams and ensuring smooth communication across all stakeholders
- Providing on-site support during events, helping with setup, attendee check-in, and troubleshooting to ensure a seamless experience
- Contributing to post-event reporting, tracking attendance, engagement data, and capturing insights for future improvements
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in coordinating events, projects, or operational activities at scale
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Clear communication skills, comfortable asking questions and flagging issues early
- Adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Europe
