Media Technician Hardware
Join a leading creative media technology company producing large-scale graphics, video content, and immersive experiences for live music tours, festivals, art installations, and theatrical productions seen by millions worldwide.
Role Responsibilities:

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and media systems

Organise hardware assets and manage operating system licenses

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all systems

Manage Level 3 switches and document network topology
-
Standardise workstation rollouts and maintain virtual machines
-
Research and test new technologies, conduct Proof of Concept trials, and recommend hardware upgrades

Support media playback servers, VR systems, large-format displays, projection mapping, and other production technology
Skills & Experience:
-
Experience in technical/support roles, ideally in media, creative, or SME environments

Strong understanding of iSCSI, TCP/IP, NAS/SAN architectures, computer hardware builds, and network topology

Excellent troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills

Experience rolling out workstations and maintaining virtual machines

Exposure to VR systems, large-format screens, projection mapping, media playback servers, video codecs, colour space, Python, AWS, or cybersecurity is a plus

Collaborative, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Schedule & Location:

Full-time, on-site in central London, Monday to Friday

Occasional international travel to support shows and installations
