Technical Business Analyst
We are supporting an insurance firm in their search for a Technical Business Analyst to join a newly established Transformation Team .
We are looking for a technically strong Business Analyst to join a newly established Transformation Team. The organisation is entering an exciting period of change and is seeking someone who can play a key role in delivering complex, business-critical initiatives.
The Opportunity
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work closely with global business stakeholders and technical teams to support major transformation programmes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional and technical requirements
- Developing as-is and to-be process maps, data flow diagrams, and system documentation
- Translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications
- Facilitating workshops, sprint planning sessions, and requirements reviews
- Identifying process optimisation opportunities and driving improvements
- Supporting system integration projects, platform upgrades, and data migration initiatives
- Working closely with testing teams and business users to support UAT and validate end-to-end processes
About You (Essential)
Please only apply if you meet the following key requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments
- Strong technical BA skillset, including process modelling and systems-focused analysis
- Proven experience working with underwriting systems and underwriting teams
- Clear understanding of underwriting processes and the technical components that support them
- Demonstrated ability to translate underwriting/business processes into technical solutions
- Experience working in agile, product-led delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
