Workday Finance Data Specialist

We are currently partnering with a leading Financial Services organisation in their search for an experienced Workday Finance Data Specialist to join the organisation.

This individual will work closely with Finance, functional and technical teams, as well as third-party vendors, to execute end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring strong data governance, accuracy, and seamless integration across all Workday Financial functional areas.

This role is based in London on an 9 month-FTC and is looking to pay up to £85-90k or £500-600/day.

Essential experience/qualifications required:

• Proven experience delivering data migration within ERP implementations, ideally Workday Financials.
• Hands-on experience executing ETL activities using Workday tools such as EIB and data workbooks across Finance functional areas (e.g. Accounts, Budgets, Projects, Suppliers, Customers, Fixed Assets).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL tools, data migration methodologies, and data governance frameworks.
• Experience coordinating data validation, reconciliation, and data quality assurance across multiple migration cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Finance stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors in a complex transformation environment.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, SOX).
