Client Architect (Private Markets SaaS)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a start-up / scale up FinTech platform for Sponsors, Lenders, Advisors and Law Firms.

The Platform:

The platform revolutionises the operating systems for the private debt market by:

o Powering the end-to-end private debt lifecycle, helping sponsors, lenders, advisors and legal teams execute transactions and manage portfolios with greater speed, control and transparency.

o Digitising and centralising deal terms and negotiation history by replaces fragmented workflows (spreadsheets, email chains, disconnected data rooms) with an end-to-end platform that helps institutions execute deals and manage portfolios with greater speed, control, and transparency

o Supporting engagement tracking and precedent search.

o Providing portfolio tools such as covenant monitoring and reporting—reducing admin and improving decision-making for institutional users.

o Supporting Enterprise use, including SOC 2 Type II compliance and SSO/MFA options.

Responsibilities

You’ll act as a consultative partner to top-tier clients, helping them to onboard to the platform with success, and embed best-practice private debt workflows on their systems.

  • You will own a portfolio of current and new clients for onboarding, adoption and account health end-to-end
  • Ensuring onboarding is tight, adoption is sustained, risks are surfaced early, and feedback loops into Product are high quality.

This is an “operating” role with real ownership: you’ll run the cadence that keeps clients successful and expanding, whilst helping to

  • Professionalise the customer operating model as it scales.
  • Provide client feedback to the tech and product development teams to continually improve and innovate the offering.
  • Work collegiate style with the whole organisation (sales, strategy, ops, tech, etc) in continual communications around driving the organisation, and platform, forward.

Your Profile:

You will have strong product knowledge of Credit, Debt and Leverage Finance and be experienced in the deal flow and transactions, from an investment or banking background.

Knowledge and experience of M&A and deal structuring would very useful. You will also be familiar with the due diligence, legal, compliance, regulatory needs and underwriting.

You will have an interest in FinTech and be keen to explore the opportunities FinTech can offer in terms of career direction.

Seniority and career advancement: typically suited to late-Associate / VP level talent coming from capital markets / private credit, who want broader role ownership, influence and career advancement in a high-growth SaaS environment through the lens of professional experience and an entrepreneur mindset. Experience in Fintech / SaaS an advantage.
