Our client operates a SaaS platform with a significant buy-and-build element, providing capital and strategic support to help founder-led software businesses scale quickly within a shared cloud ecosystem. They focus on empowering innovative B2B companies with resources and tools like modern business applications, data analytics, and AI.

Having secured in excess of $100m in funding, the business has completed nine acquisitions in under two years and is poised to become one of Europe's SaaS leaders.

The Role

Our client is hiring a Finance Manager to play a key role in the development of the group finance function within a fast-growing international SaaS platform. Reporting directly to the VP Finance, this is a high-impact opportunity for a technically strong finance professional seeking exposure across group reporting, acquisition integration, systems implementation, and finance transformation.

The successful candidate will work across a global portfolio of software businesses, supporting everything from month-end close and IFRS consolidation through to M&A integration and the development of scalable financial infrastructure. The environment is fast-paced, hands-on, and highly acquisitive, making it well suited to someone who enjoys combining technical accounting with operational execution and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a central role in the group month-end close process across multiple international entities and jurisdictions
  • Prepare consolidated group accounts and support accurate, timely IFRS reporting
  • Own journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial control processes across central entities
  • Support integration of newly acquired businesses into the group finance structure and reporting framework
  • Assist with acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocations and IFRS treatment of M&A activity
  • Help standardise reporting packs, KPIs, dashboards, and management information across the portfolio
  • Support the implementation of finance systems and consolidation tools to improve scalability, automation, and reporting accuracy
  • Drive continuous process improvement across finance operations and group reporting
  • Coordinate with external advisors and local finance teams on statutory accounts, audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Partner closely with the VP Finance to help build a best-in-class group finance function as the platform continues to grow

Essential Experience

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with 2+ years’ post-qualified experience
  • Strong grounding in IFRS technical accounting and financial control
  • Experience within a group finance environment with exposure to international or multi-entity consolidations
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, private equity-backed, or acquisitive business environment
  • Strong Excel and financial systems capability with a process improvement mindset
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance technical accounting and operational delivery
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

Desirable Experience

  • Big 4 or top-tier audit/advisory background
  • Exposure to SaaS, technology, or recurring revenue business models
  • Experience supporting M&A transactions or acquisition integrations
  • Involvement in ERP, finance system, or consolidation tool implementations
  • Multi-currency consolidation experience

Package

Salary: GBP 70,000 - 80,000 + bonus

Location: London, hybrid (flexible model, circa 2-3 days in office)
