Harmonic is partnering with a rapidly growing, PE-backed scale-up in search of a Finance Manager. This is a 6-month contract role based in London (Hybrid), offering the opportunity to make a direct impact in a fast-paced business during a critical period of growth.

With operations expanding rapidly across multiple continents, they require an experienced finance professional to oversee their financial operations and ensure scalability as the business continues to grow. The Role

As Finance Manager, you will take on a role overseeing and managing key financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, and driving process improvements across the finance function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within a scale-up or PE-backed environment and be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-moving business.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Providing financial analysis and insights to senior leadership
• Managing month-end close processes and ensuring accuracy in financial statements
• Supporting cash flow management and forecasting
• Supporting financial compliance and ensuring VAT and tax returns are up-to-date
• Supporting the team with ad hoc financial queries and projects
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to improve financial visibility and decision-making

Essential Skills

• Experience in financial management, ideally within a scale-up or PE-backed companyg
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Netsuite or in-depth experience with multiple accounting systems
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or pursuing a qualification

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-growth or startup environments
• Fintech, Financial Services or Tech company experience
• Immediately available to start

Contract Details

• Duration : 6-month contract (Outside IR35)
• Location : London (Hybrid – 2/3 days per week in the office)
• Day rate: £350-450
• Start Date : ASAP
