FP&A Manager | Global MusicTechnology Business | 6-Month Contract
Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a globally recognised music technology business in their search for an FP&A Manager to join the team on an initial 6-month contract. This role will support the finance leadership team across forecasting, business partnering, cash management and strategic planning, helping to drive financial performance across a fast-paced, international organisation. The position will sit Inside IR35 and offer a day rate of up to £500 per day.

The Role:
Reporting into the CFO and working alongside the Finance Manager, the FP&A Manager will play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting and strategic decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with divisional leaders, providing meaningful analysis and commercial insight to support performance management and future growth.
Alongside core FP&A responsibilities, the role will support cash forecasting, treasury activities, corporate development projects and a range of ad hoc analytical requirements. This is a highly visible position requiring strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-moving commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review financial performance against forecast and budget, providing detailed analysis and commentary on material variances.
- Develop, maintain and enhance financial models to support forecasting cycles and longer-term scenario planning.
- Partner with business leaders across multiple functions to ensure forecasts accurately reflect current trading performance.
- Prepare and deliver financial reporting packs for divisional leaders, highlighting key revenue and cost movements against forecast and budget.
- Support strategic planning processes and scenario analysis to evaluate commercial opportunities and business initiatives.
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to support decision-making across both revenue-generating and support functions.
- Support cash management activities through the preparation and monitoring of cash flow forecasts.
- Produce cash reporting and analysis to support effective liquidity planning.
- Assist in optimising working capital through the monitoring of receivables, payables and royalty payment cycles.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support operational and executive decision-making.
- Assist with month-end close activities in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, forecasting and financial processes.
What We Need To See (Essential):
- Strong Financial Planning & Analysis experience within a commercial environment.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and non-finance business leaders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights.
What We Need To See (Bonus):
- Experience within technology, digital media, entertainment or subscription-based businesses.
- Familiarity with royalty-based or digital marketplace business models.
Day Rate:
Up to £500 per day (Inside IR35)
