AI DevOps Engineer Azure

This role sits at the heart of an enterprise AI/LLM transformation, supporting the deployment and optimisation of cutting-edge AI applications within a secure, scalable cloud environment.

This is a rare chance to combine your DevOps expertise with innovative LLM/GenAI projects that are actively reshaping how a highly regulated industry delivers value. You'll work cross-functionally with product owners, engineers, infrastructure, and security teams to build robust, production-grade AI solutions.

• Lead deployment of AI/LLM cloud solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) on Azure.

• Automate and optimise CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and release workflows.

• Drive secure design and ensure resilience, compliance, and observability.

• Partner with internal tech teams and external vendors on infrastructure and support.

• Act as a technical lead across key AI initiatives-owning from planning to execution.

• Provide Level 3 support and proactively resolve production issues.

• Stay at the forefront of AI/ML, NLP, and LLM trends and integrate relevant innovations.

• Azure: Azure Document Intelligence, Azure Networking & Security

• IaC Tools: Terraform or ARM Templates (experience expected)

• Languages: Python preferred (especially for AI/ML integration)

• DevOps & Automation: CI/CD tools, monitoring, security automation, scripting

• 5+ years in Infrastructure/DevOps; 3+ years in Azure environments

• Strong interest in (or exposure to) LLM/GenAI projects

• Experience deploying enterprise-grade cloud applications with IaC

• Sound understanding of AI/ML frameworks and modern DevOps practices

• Excellent communicator-comfortable translating technical complexity

• Curious mindset with a commitment to quality, security, and collaboration

• Salary up to £95,000 + 5% annual bonus
