Solutions AI Engineer London hybrid (3 to 4 days per week in London) | £65,000 to £90,000 plus benefits

The Role

• Work directly with end users to understand requirements and design AI-driven workflow solutions
• Build, configure, and maintain production-grade generative AI features alongside software engineers
• Deliver bespoke proofs of concept that often progress into live product functionality
• Support commercial activity through tailored demos and client-facing solution walkthroughs
• Balance hands-on technical delivery with client engagement in a fast-moving startup environment

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience using Python in applied AI or machine learning contexts
• Proven delivery of end-to-end AI solutions such as RAG systems, LLM-powered applications, or agent-based workflows
• Experience working closely with clients or end users, translating real requirements into technical solutions
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including maintainable code, testing, and collaboration with engineering teams
• Practical knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, agent workflows, and model evaluation
• Familiarity with modern GenAI tooling such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
• Motivation to work in a startup environment, with comfort around ambiguity, pace, and ownership
