London, hybrid three days a week. Competitive salary between £60,000 and £70,000 plus benefits.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-scaling data and machine learning function, working at the intersection of AI engineering, product innovation, and advanced analytics. You will help deliver customer-facing AI features, internal automation, and traditional ML models within a modern cloud environment.

The Role

  • Build and deploy AI and ML models across customer-facing and internal product areas.
  • Contribute to conversational AI and generative AI features that enhance customer engagement.
  • Support traditional ML projects including segmentation, forecasting and recommendation systems.
  • Develop scalable pipelines and services using Python and cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Play a key role in scaling AI capability within a lean, high-performing team.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong Python engineering skills with experience delivering production models.
  • Hands on with AI or ML engineering, including modern LLM, NLP or deep learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally GCP, but open to other platforms.
  • Understanding of model deployment, microservices, and scalable data patterns.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Passion for AI and how it can drive customer experience and business value.
  • STEM degree preferred, with experience in a structured engineering or data team.
